Police officers use sex slave services…

            Over the past few months I have watched many programs on sex slavery and human trafficking.  This Front Line special was particularly horrifying because the viewer actually got to go with a husband who was desperately searching for his wife, Katia, who was sold into sex slavery.  What astonished me the most was the face that the police are really of no help at all.  This husband had to literally go by himself with the Front Line producers and search for his wife alone, if he did not do this then more than likely he would never have seen his wife again.  When the husband did find out who the pimp (Apo) was who had his wife he sought out police assistance.  But Apo and his wife Maria became suspicious at the meeting with the husband and fled.  Later Maria told Katia’s husband that they had paid the police $1,000 to tell them if they were being set up or not.  What kind of corrupt law system is this?  Also when the other trafficker, Olga, was selling her girls the Ukraine secret service knew about what she was doing and knew when she was coming to do business, yet they never did anything to stop her.  An officer was literally standing right by her when she was making transactions.  Also the one pimp, Vlad, said that a lot of the police officers used the girl’s services and if the girls did try to escape the police would just bring them back to their pimps and not try to help them get back to their families.  I think that law enforcement, especially in other countries, think that this is all a joke.  But these women are slaves, they are being held hostage and they need help in any way they can get it.
